This week was fun. There was different things going on. For starters the last BFA thesis show was this week. Our two BFA ceramic majors had their work in that show. It they did great!

Next we had a demonstration and lecture this week. Matt Mitros, came and did it. He had a printing machine. He printed some, showed us how he casts the bottom of his mug, then he showed us how to do the programming to print ceramic objects. He was pretty awesome. He also took a peak in my studio. He told me that my work was pretty cool, and that my proportions were spot on. He also told me to keep on doing figurative. So that is so awesome to hear!

We also did a pit firing this week. I put two little bodies in there. One was mine, and one was the drawing professor Emily Sheehan's. They were from when we were having an anatomy lesson while ago.

Then I started a new piece this week. It's my first time building on an armature. So we will see how this goes. So far so good though! I am pretty proud of myself so far.
